On January 31, 2017, the Frontenac Heritage Foundation presented Peter Milliken where he spoke about his time as Speaker of the House of Commons. After serving ten years as the longest serving Speaker of the House of Commons he talked about many  highlights of his career, and also about  what are now considered to be landmark rulings when he was required to break a tie.
