On Monday, 9 May, 2016, the Foundation along with the Kingston Historical Society and the Kingston Yacht Club co-hosted a celebration of George Muirhead’s 100th birthday. George Muirhead, one of the co-founders of the Frontenac Heritage Foundation, has been influential in the fields of city planning and heritage preservation in the Kingston area. The event was held at the Kingston Yacht Club, 1 Maitland Street, where George was a longstanding member.

The Queen’s University Website has posted the 1960 Planning Study of Kingston co-authored by Muirhead.
