1113 Prince Street
1113 Prince Street, Lansdowne is a prominent building located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Prince Street and King Street in Lansdowne. The property is on the municipal register at the owner’s request. The building has served as an anchor for the community, filling several commercial functions since it was constructed. The building is the only Second Empire style building in the community. The building has seven distinctive bonnet dormers which have been restored. The location of the building at the top of a hill of the main intersection of Lansdowne ensures that it is a major landmark in the community, and further that the exterior is substantially the same as in the early 1900s. The building’s owners were given awards by the Frontenac Heritage Foundation in 2022 and much more information is provided in our awards section.
