Friends of the Spire is a newly-formed non-profit organization of community and congregation members with a vision and commitment to undertake a unique project that will remodel parts of the building and make the building accessible. This includes installing an elevator, improving washrooms, and making the William Street entrance accessible.  The effort will vastly add to its sustainability as a community asset while retaining its role for its congregation.  The governance model is remarkable.
